A $5,000 motorcycle was stolen on 18th Street on Saturday night, police said. The owner of the blue 2002 Yamaha FZ-1000 told Cookeville Police Officer Josh Ward that he had left his apartment about 10 p.m., leaving the cycle parked in front of the apartment.
